Nexus Letters
A Nexus Letter is a medical opinion drafted by a qualified provider. Its purpose is to establish a link (nexus) between your current medical condition and an event, injury, or illness that occurred during your military service.
Yes. To write a strong Nexus Letter, our providers need to review your Service Treatment Records (STRs) and current medical records to understand the history and progression of your condition.
While many veterans use Nexus Letters to submit Supplemental Claims after a denial, every case is unique. A strong medical rationale can significantly improve the evidentiary strength of your claim.
DBQ Exams
A Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) is a standardized form used by the VA to evaluate the severity of a medical condition. It ensures the rating officer has all the necessary medical data to make a decision.
It depends on the condition. Mental health evaluations and some record reviews can often be done via Telehealth. Orthopedic or physical conditions usually require an in-person examination to test range of motion.
